LOLA and the Boy Next Door

LOLA.jpgCould the boy from her past be the love of her future?

Budding designer Lola Nolan doesn’t believe in fashion… she believes in costume. The more expressive the outfit – the more sparkly, more fun, more wild – the better. And life is pretty close to perfect in Lola’s world, especially with her hot rocker boyfriend. That is, until the dreaded Bell twins, Calliope and Cricket, return to the neighborhood and unearth a past of hurt and anguish that Lola thought was long buried. When talented inventor Cricket steps out from his twin sister’s shadow and back into Lola’s life, she must finally reconcile a lifetime of feelings for the boy next door.

After falling in love with Anna and St. Claire, another two lovable characters that you surely don’t wanna miss!!! Lola and Cricket! I like the creativity of both characters;i like how they characters complement each other. I like Lola’s costume! Like it is her way of telling the world that she’s different(although some may not like the sparkles and colors). I also like Lola’s family, not just an ordinary family but a family with two dads. I like how they support, guide and take care of Lola in the best way they can.

Stephanie Perkins is really good in writing stories about love, friendship, relationship. I love how she’s able to get readers attention on the first few sentences of the story. As MTV.com said “another unputdownable read.”

Oh! Anna and St. Claire are included in this story! After Anna and the the French Kiss, I want more from them — so here it is! Though its not that much but at least there’s a glimpse! 🙂

A story of love, friendship, decisions and growing up.

“I don’t want to give you this broken, empty me. I want you to have me when I’m full, when I can give something back to you.”
